Overview:
In this 08 nights / 09 days Buddhist trails you will cover Varanasi – an ancient city dating to the 11th century B.C. Regarded as the spiritual capital of India, the city draws Hindu pilgrims who bathe in the Ganges River’s sacred waters and perform funeral rites. Rajgir is a site of great Sanctity and significance for Buddhists. Afternoon proceed to visit Gridhkutta Hill, Bimbisar jail & Ajatashatru’s Fort. Khushinagar – which hold special place in Buddhist history. Reclining Buddha statue is a main attraction here.
And then Lumbini – according to Buddhist tradition, it is a birthplace of Lord Buddha. Saravasti – according to Buddhist tradition the Buddha spent significant portion of his monastic life in Saravasti. And Agra – which is a home of seven wonders of world – Taj Mahal.

After arrival in Varanasi, meet with our representative and transferred to the pre booked hotel.
Upon arrival check in at the hotel and in the afternoon expedition to Sarnath – the land where Buddha preached his first sermon.
Evening enjoy the Aarti ceremony at holy River Ganges Ghat.
Overnight stay at the hotel.
Morning enjoy a boat ride on the river ganges and see the numerous ghats with people ritually cleansing their sins. People all over the world visit here due to piousness of its waters.
Later back to the hotel and have breakfast. After that proceed for sightseeing tour of the temples of Varanasi.
After sightseeing drive towards Bodhgaya.
Overnight stay at the hotel in Bodhgaya.
Morning after having a breakfast start full day sightseeing tour of Bodhgaya and visit the Mahabodhi temple.
Besides the Mahabodhi temple, visit several Buddhist temples built by the followers of Buddhism all over the world.

Morning breakfast at the hotel and drive towards Rajgir en-route visit Nalanda which is 12 kms drive. One of the greatest monastic universities of the ancient world university established here in the 5th century.It is believed that Lord Buddha and also the founder of Jainism religion Lord Mahavir taught at this university for years
Continue drive towards Rajgir.
Afternoon proceed to visit Gridhkutta Hill, Bimbisar jail & Ajatashatru’s Fort.
Overnight stay at the hotel.
Morning breakfast at the hotel and drive towards Kushinagar which is approximately 300 kms from Rajgir and the journey will take 6 hours to reach there. On arrival check in at the hotel.

Morning breakfast at the hotel and visit Mahaparinirvana Temple – where Buddha took his last breath and Rambhar Stupa – the creamation site of Lord Buddha. Drive back to the hotel and after having a lunch there drive towards Lumbini Nepal which is approximately 170 kms.
Note : Kindly obtain a double entry visa for India and single entry visa for Nepal.
On arrival check in at the hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel in Lumbini.
Morning after having a breakfast at the hotel proceed to visit Holy Birth place of Lord Buddha.
Lunch at the hotel and drive to Sravasti which is approximately 200 kms from Lumbini and it will take 5 hours to reach there.
On arrival check in at the hotel in Sravasti.
Morning breakfast at the hotel and proceed for visit Saheth (Jetvanaram) and Maheth (Angulimal Caves).
Continue drive towards Lucknow and transfer to railway station to board the train for Agra.
Upon arrival meet with our representative and transfer to the hotel.
Overnight stay at hotel.
After having a healthy breakfast at the hotel proceed for sightseeing tour of Agra and visit Taj Mahal – an eternal symbol of Love and which is also counted in Wonders of the World.
Note : Taj Mahal is closed on Friday.
Drive back to Delhi and transfer to the airport to board the flight for onward destination.
