Day 05 Delhi – Jaisalmer (By Flight)

Morning after breakfast drive to Jaisalmer

Drive to the desert camp at Jaisalmer where you will be staying in Tented accommodation. 

Desert Safari: Embark on a thrilling desert safari experience in the Sam Sand Dunes, located about 40 km from Jaisalmer. Enjoy a camel ride through the dunes, witness the mesmerizing sunset, and experience traditional Rajasthani folk music and dance performances at the desert camp. 

Cultural Evening: Return to Jaisalmer and spend the evening exploring the local markets, such as Manak Chowk and Sadar Bazaar. Shop for Rajasthani handicrafts, textiles, jewelry, and souvenirs. Optionally, attend a cultural evening with traditional music and dance performances.

Day 06 Jaisalmer visit

Jaisalmer Fort (Sonar Quila): Start your day early with a visit to the iconic Jaisalmer Fort. This massive sandcastle-like fort is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and offers panoramic views of the city. Explore the narrow lanes, ancient temples, and intricate architecture within the fort complex.

Jain Temples: Within the fort, don’t miss the exquisite Jain temples known for their intricate carvings and architectural beauty. The temples are dedicated to Jain Tirthankaras and showcase stunning craftsmanship.

Patwon Ki Haveli: After exploring the fort, head to Patwon Ki Haveli, a cluster of five beautifully carved havelis (mansions). Admire the intricate designs, murals, and unique architecture that reflect the opulence of wealthy merchants from the past.

Gadisar Lake: After lunch, visit Gadisar Lake, a serene water reservoir surrounded by temples and ghats. Take a boat ride or simply stroll around the lake to enjoy the peaceful ambiance and scenic views.

Vyas Chhatri: Next, visit Vyas Chhatri, an architectural marvel that serves as a memorial to Sage Vyas. The intricate carvings and the panoramic view of the sunset from here are mesmerizing.

Local Markets: If time permits, explore the vibrant local markets in Jaisalmer, such as Sadar Bazaar and Manak Chowk, known for their handicrafts, textiles, jewelry, and souvenirs.

Day 07 Jaisalmer – Jodhpur (By Road 285 KM approx 5 – 6 Hours)

Depart from Jaisalmer and travel to Jodhpur (approximately 5-6 hours by road).

Check into your hotel in Jodhpur and have lunch.

The afternoon is free for your leisure activities. If you want then you can visit the local bazaar to shop for gifts and souvenirs. Stay overnight.

Mehrangarh Fort: One of the largest forts in India, offering breathtaking views of the blue city. The fort complex includes beautiful palaces, museums, and galleries.

Jaswant Thada: A beautiful marble cenotaph built in memory of Maharaja Jaswant Singh II. It is located near Mehrangarh Fort and offers stunning views.

Umaid Bhawan Palace: A magnificent palace that is part hotel and part museum. Explore the museum to see artifacts related to the Jodhpur royal family.

Clock Tower and Sardar Market: Stroll through this bustling market area where you can shop for local handicrafts, spices, and textiles.

Rao Jodha Desert Rock Park: A unique park created to restore the natural ecology of a large, rocky wasteland. It’s perfect for a leisurely walk amidst native flora.

Day 09 Jodhpur – Udaipur via Ranakpur (By Road 248 KM approx 5 -6 Hours)

Depart from Jodhpur early in the morning.

Drive to Ranakpur (approximately 3.5 hours).

Ranakpur Jain Temple: Visit the stunning marble Jain temple complex, known for its intricate carvings and over 1,400 uniquely carved pillars. Take your time to explore and appreciate the serene atmosphere.

Continue your journey to Udaipur (approximately 2.5 hours).

Arrive in Udaipur and check into your hotel.

Lake Pichola: Enjoy a boat ride on Lake Pichola, which offers beautiful views of the city, especially during sunset. You’ll see landmarks such as the City Palace and Jag Mandir.

Day 11 Udaipur - Pushkar (By Drive 5-6 Hours)

Depart from Udaipur early in the morning for Pushkar (approximately 5-6 hours by road).

Enjoy the scenic drive through the Aravalli hills and rural Rajasthan.

Arrive in Pushkar and check into your hotel.

Have lunch and relax for a while.

Pushkar Lake: Visit the sacred Pushkar Lake, surrounded by ghats and temples. It’s a tranquil spot perfect for a leisurely stroll and to witness the evening aarti (prayer ceremony).

Day 12 Pushkar – Jaipur (By Drive approx 3-4 Hours)

Day 14 Jaipur – Agra (By Drive 240 KM approx 5 Hours)

Depart from Jaipur early in the morning for Agra (approximately 4-5 hours by road).

Fatehpur Sikri: Take a short trip to Fatehpur Sikri (about 1 hour from Agra). This UNESCO World Heritage site was once the capital of the Mughal Empire and includes stunning structures like the Buland Darwaza, Jama Masjid, and Panch Mahal.

Arrive in Agra and check into your hotel.

Taj Mahal: Visit the Taj Mahal at sunrise to witness its breathtaking beauty in the early morning light. Spend ample time exploring this UNESCO World Heritage site, one of the New Seven Wonders of the World.

Agra Fort: Start your Agra sightseeing with a visit to this UNESCO World Heritage site. Explore the massive red sandstone fort, which includes beautiful palaces, audience halls, and mosques.

Itimad-ud-Daulah’s Tomb: Also known as the “Baby Taj,” this exquisite mausoleum is often regarded as a draft of the Taj Mahal. Its intricate inlay work and serene gardens are worth exploring.

Mehtab Bagh: Visit this garden complex located on the opposite bank of the Yamuna River from the Taj Mahal. It’s a great spot for viewing the Taj Mahal at sunset and taking photographs.

Shopping in Agra: Explore the local markets and shops for souvenirs such as marble inlay work, leather goods, and handicrafts.

Marble Handicrafts Workshop: Visit a workshop to see artisans creating intricate marble inlay work, similar to what is seen in the Taj Mahal. You can purchase unique souvenirs

Day 16 Agra – Delhi

Gurudwara Bangla Sahib Delhi:- Gurudwara Bangla Sahib is the most prominent Sikh (religion) Gurudwara (place of worship). It is known for its association with 8th Sikh Guru – Guru Har Krishan. Located in Connaught Place, it was first completed in the year 1664. However, it was renovated in the year 1783. What we see today has been built post 1947 – year of Independence of India.
